Donors will receive a letter from the trust acknowledging your gift for tax purposes.
TYPES OF FUNDS WITHIN THE FOUNDATION:
Core Fund--This is the heart and soul of our funds (our primary fund). Funds given without a designated charitable objective. The board of Positively Portage! will control the dispersal of monies from this fund.
Field of Interest--Funds given to promote the donors general intentions. This fund may be sort or long term depending on the donors objectives.
Donor Advised--Funds given to support the donors specific objectives. The life of the fund will depend on the donors intent.
Scholarship--Funds given specifically to support the educational objectives of Portage area residents. Donors may not specify a recipient for these funds. Selection must be made by an independent body.
Designated--Funds given to support one specific objective. This may be either long or short term.
Disaster--Funds given to help the victims of either personal or area disaster.
Agency--Funds deposited by other community organizations that will be used to support the aims of the depositing organization.

All contributions, once accepted by the Positively Portage! Board of Directors, represent an irrevocable contribution to Positively Portage! and are not refundable.
